Discover the Red
Sea

days airport-airport/10 dives in 5 days in the Red Sea/1 day Petra visit/1 day
& 1 night in Wadi Rum/1 free day in Aqaba/8 hotel nights & 1 camping
night/Arrival in Amman & departure from Aqaba.
This
package is prepared for those who are already certified scuba divers and want
to discover the Red Sea of Aqaba, at the same time with interest in touring the
south and visiting and discovering Petra & Wadi Rum. The package includes 10
dives over a 5-day period in Aqaba to various dive sites.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive
in Amman, at Queen Alia International Airport, where you will be met and driven
to your hotel. Meet your guide for dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast
at the hotel and then drive for about two & a half hours to 3 hours south
to Wadi Musa the modern town close to the ancient city of Petra. The day to
visit Petra. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3
Breakfast
at the hotel and then drive 1hour. 30 mins to the Desert of Wadi Rum.
Spend
the day walking & in 4X4 vehicles. Lunch followed by a break. In the
afternoon, more walking or scrambling around Wadi Rum. Dinner & night
camping in the desert.
Day 4
Early
breakfast in the desert then drive down for an hour to the Red Sea City of
Aqaba. Check in at your hotel. Meet your instructor and/or guide for
orientation. Transfer to dive site and make two dives. At 2pm transfer back to
hotel for lunch or at your own leisure. Then you are free for the rest of the
day. You can go to the beach, enjoy water sports….etc. Dinner & overnight
at hotel.
Day 5 to Day 8
Breakfast,
followed by transfer to dive site at 9 am. 2 dives per day until 2pm. The
afternoon free for your leisure. Dinner & over night at hotel
Day 9
Free
day to spend at your leisure; swimming, snorkeling...etc. No scuba diving since
you will be taking the plane the next day. Lunch on your own & dinner with
guide at hotel. Over night at hotel.
Day 10
Breakfast
and then transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Learn to Scuba

This
package is prepared for those who are interested to become certified scuba
divers and want to discover the Red Sea of Aqaba, at the same time with
interest in touring the south and visiting and discovering Petra & Wadi
Rum. The tour offers you the PADI open water certificate. PADI is the largest
diving instructional agency in the world.

Day 1
Arrive

Day 2
Breakfast
at the hotel and then drive for about two & a half hours to 3 hours south

Day 5 to Day 7
Breakfast,
followed by transfer to dive center & dive site for academic training,
confined water training and open water training. Dinner & over night at
hotel
Day 8
Breakfast
and then transfer to dive site and make two dives. At 2pm transfer back to
hotel for lunch or at your own leisure. Then you are free for the rest of the
day. You can go to the beach, enjoy water sports….etc. Dinner & overnight
at hotel.
Day 9
Free
day to spend at your leisure. No scuba diving since you will be taking the
plane the next day. Lunch on your own & dinner with guide at hotel. Over
night at hotel.
Day 10
Breakfast
and then transfer to the airport for your flight home.
The
"Learn to Scuba" tour offers the PADI open water divers course. The
course consists of the following:
- Academic Training: You will be given the PADI Open
Water Diver Manual upon arrival in Jordan. You can read it on the first 3
days of the tour. It is available in most languages. At the dive center in
Aqaba you will do the audio visual program, quizzes and final theory exam
- Confined Water Training: 5 pool or beach training
sessions, 30-40 minutes each.
- Open Water training: 4 open water dives over a
three-day period.
Upon
completion of your course you will have your PADI open water certificate. You
will be given a temporary card and the original will be mailed to you from PADI
International to your home address. On day 7 & 8 after the completion of
the course you will be able to do 3 extra dives.
Please
note that accommodation for the scuba diving packages is in half board basis.
